Overview

At Scholastic UK, we are one of the best‑known primary education publishers in the country, the UK’s largest school book fair operator and the biggest children’s specialist bookseller in the UK and Ireland.

We are looking for enthusiastic and self‑motivated Self‑Employed School Sales Consultants to work with Scholastic Education to promote and sell teacher resources, reading series, and children’s books. Key to the role will be visiting schools both in person and virtually, to build strong relationships and realise sales growth across your territory.

Responsibilities

Visiting schools in person and virtually to build relationships and secure sales.

Managing a busy schedule to meet minimum sales expectations.

Presenting and demonstrating product offerings to educators.

Maintaining accurate sales records.

Qualifications & Requirements

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong demonstration skills and ability to manage a busy schedule.

Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

Understanding of the education system.

Full UK driving licence.

Flexibility in working hours.

Must live within the assigned territory.

Compensation

Commission‑based role; not salaried.
