The Think Big international scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students could help you fund your UK study at the University of Bristol. These scholarships are for applicants with overseas fee status who have applied for an eligible undergraduate or master's course.
Aim and Benefits of University of Bristol Think Big international scholarships:
- Think Big undergraduate scholarships are valued at £6,500 and £13,000 for up to four years of study.
- Think Big postgraduate scholarships are valued at £6,500, £13,000 and £26,000 for your first year of study.
Requirements for University of Bristol Think Big international scholarships:
Qualification:
- To be eligible for the University's undergraduate scholarships, you must:
- have applied for a full-time in-person undergraduate course at the University of Bristol (courses in Bristol Dental School and Bristol Medical School are not eligible)
- be an overseas student for fee-paying purposes
- have received an offer to study at the University of Bristol before Friday 24 April 2026 (if you have not, we will withdraw your scholarship application)
- meet or exceed the entry requirements as stated in your formal UCAS offer before 31 August 2026 (you must also confirm the University of Bristol as your Firm choice offer in UCAS).
- To be eligible for the University's postgraduate scholarships, you must:
- have applied to any full-time, in-person master's programme at the University of Bristol
- be an overseas student for fee-paying purposes
- have received an offer to study at the University of Bristol before Friday 24 April 2026 (if you have not, we will withdraw your scholarship application)
- meet or exceed the entry requirements as stated by the University of Bristol.
If you have more than one study offer, you must choose one for your scholarship application. If you do not choose by the deadline, it may make your application ineligible. Scholarship awards are valid for entry in September 2026 only. You cannot defer them to a later year. If you choose to defer your place at the University, we cannot transfer your scholarship.

- 14 January 2026: Career Accelerator Round 1 early consideration deadline (Postgraduate only)
- February 2026: Career Accelerator Round 1 outcomes shared (Postgraduate only)
- 10 April 2026: Think Big Scholarship applications close at 10:00am UK time
- Late May 2026: Think Big outcomes shared
- Late May 2026: Think Big Offer Holder deadline to accept Scholarship
- July 2026: Scholarship award letters shared with successful applicants
