Up to £10,000 (for the first year of study only) for international students undertaking higher studies in the UK. To provide a funding source to international students, the University of York has organized the International Masters Achievement Scholarships for the academic year 2025-2026.
The program is open to international (including EU) students who hold a conditional or unconditional offer for a full-time postgraduate taught course at the University of York.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to international (including EU) students.
- Eligible for any full-time postgraduate taught programme except Hull York Medical School, MSc Nursing (Mental Health/Adult), MA Public Policy (Mundus MAPP), LLM Professional Legal Practice (SQE1 & SQE2), online/distance learning, and research programmes.
- To be eligible, applicants must:
- hold a conditional or unconditional offer to study at the University of York by 28 August 2026;
- pay fees at overseas rate;
- intend to study a full-time postgraduate taught course;
- not hold a 100% tuition fee scholarship or be fully sponsored.
Funding Amount
Up to £10,000 towards tuition fees for the first year of study. Can be combined with other scholarships provided the total funding does not exceed 100% of tuition fees.
Application Process
No formal application is required. All eligible students are automatically considered for the scholarship. The University will select successful candidates from the eligible cohort.
