We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and committed Learning Support Assistant to join our inclusive and vibrant partner primary school in the heart of Hackney. Working alongside class teachers and the SENCo as a Learning Support Assistant, you will support pupils' learning, development and wellbeing, both in the classroom and through targeted small-group or one-to-one support. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in children's lives.
Responsibilities
- Have experience working with children of primary school age (school-based experience desirable)
- Be patient, nurturing and positive, with high expectations for all pupils
- Support children with a range of learning needs, including SEND
- Work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with staff and parents
- Be committed to inclusion, safeguarding and promoting pupils' independence
