Our Private Wealth & Succession lawyers provide specialist guidance to families, trustees, business owners and landowners in the UK and overseas. They also advise executors and beneficiaries of deceased estates. The team handles a varied and interesting mix of work, including wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, trusts, estate administration and corporate structures in a private wealth context. They take a friendly, reassuring and practical approach, helping clients through matters that are often complex, personal or sensitive.
The Role
You’ll provide full secretarial and administrative support across the team, helping our lawyers manage a busy and interesting range of private wealth and succession work. Your role will include:
- Managing and preparing documents
- Supporting monthly billing
- Helping with credit management processes
- Producing financial information when needed
- Using case management systems to keep matters organised
- Supporting lawyers and clients in a professional, accurate and helpful way
What we’re looking for
You’ll need proven legal secretarial experience, strong document management skills and experience using case management systems, ideally P4W. Private client experience would be ideal, although experience in a similar area, such as family law, would also be useful. You’ll be organised, accurate and proactive, with the confidence to manage a busy workload. You’ll also be a clear communicator who can show empathy and understanding when supporting clients through difficult circumstances.
