About the Role
Are you a Registered Mental Health Nurse looking for a new career move or speciality?
Schoen Clinic York is looking for a Mental Health Nurse (NMC registered) to join the Eating Disorder team on a full-time, permanent basis.
As an RMN, you will be responsible for providing a high standard of care, complying with the Nursing and Midwifery Code (NMC), to our patients while ensuring that patient safety is always maintained. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a shift, conducting assessments and supporting colleagues where necessary. You will be one of the key nurses for patients, completing care plans, risk assessments, and other associated documents, and will hold an allocated lead area for the service, e.g., managing self-harm and maintaining the clinic room in line with policies and procedures.

Skills & requirements
As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will have NMC registration with no restrictions and have proven post qualification experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.
On top of this, you will have up to date knowledge and understanding of current nursing practice, the ability to plan care and manage a personal caseload.
Although working within Eating Disorders is not essential, any experience of working within Eating Disorders is desirable.
