Services Tendering Engineer – Digital Power

Location: UK (Home or Office-Based with Flexibility)

Are you experienced in power quality, protection, and monitoring of electrical systems? Do you enjoy crafting solutions that meet technical and commercial needs? Join our Services Business Unit as a Tendering Engineer and play a critical role in delivering tailored proposals for our customers.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Partner with sales teams to understand customer needs and create competitive, technically compliant offers.
  • Prepare detailed cost analyses and risk assessments to deliver high-quality proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Finance, and Engineering) to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Develop tenders for Maintenance, Repair, and Modernisation of power quality systems, including low and medium voltage equipment.
  • Lead tender approval reviews and ensure proper handover of successful bids to Operations.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in tendering, project management, or sales related to power quality, protection, or monitoring systems.
  • Technical knowledge of low and medium voltage systems, electrical schematics, and network diagrams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is desirable but not essential.
