Stores Operative

As Temporary Stores Operative you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the correct materials are picked and fulfilled to other departments
• Receiving and unpacking shipments
• Warehouse organisation
• Inventory management – storing and labelling materials correctly
• Ensuring efficient and proper stocks replenishment throughout the factory
• Ensuring production flow is uninterrupted
• Waste management and transportation
• Transport of materials, products as required
• Other tasks as designated by leaders
• Repackage materials and stocks for transport to other departments
• Ensuring containers and requests are packed as needed
• Inspect for defects and address issues
• Inventory tasks

Requirements

• Experience in warehousing or stores positions
• Attention to detail – accuracy!
• Excellent organisation skills
• Time management skills – efficiency!
• Maintain clean and organised work areas
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability lift and move materials / containers/ boxes of varying sizes and weights according to Health & Safety Protocols
• IT Proficiency
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently
