Specialist, Project Execution – Schneider Electric

Locations: London, Telford, Leeds (UK-wide travel required)

Overview

Are you an experienced Project Execution Specialist with a passion for driving success in complex projects? Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, is looking for a Project Manager to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of projects ranging from £500,000 to £6 million across sectors including data centres, healthcare, utilities, renewables, and industrial end users.
  • Oversee medium and low voltage projects, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Indirectly manage on‑site resources and subcontractors, ensuring smooth collaboration for successful project execution.
  • Coordinate with Schneider factories and suppliers for project success.
  • Oversee all health and safety protocols on site.
  • Manage project budgets and financial performance to ensure profitability.

Travel & Logistics

  • Frequent UK‑wide travel (up to 60% of your time) to customer sites, with occasional European travel for factory acceptance tests.
  • Work‑life balance: while travel is required, we strive to keep it local; occasional overnight stays may be required.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous project management experience in sectors such as data centres, healthcare, utilities, renewables, or industrial environments.
  • Minimum HNC in electrical engineering, with PMI or Prince2 certification preferred.
  • Strong financial management skills and the ability to handle complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
