Job Overview

The position requires a proactive customer‑driven approach, demonstrating full ownership and responsibility for producing an overall Project Solution.

The role involves managing, engineering, planning, and resourcing multiple design projects within the End User Projects Team while working closely with the Operations Manager, Project Managers, and the Engineering Manager of the Region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver multiple projects with commercial and financial awareness, including monthly forecasting, procurement, invoice approval, variation handling, and final account agreement.
  • Define project scope, goals, objectives, and performance measures to ensure they are met or exceeded.
  • Carry out engineering design of BMS and integrated projects, I/O schedules, operation descriptions, control panel approval, plant schematics, H & S documentation, and O & M documentation to maintain ISO standards.
  • Schedule and coordinate Commissioning Engineers’ time on site.
  • Support, coach, and mentor team members to ensure successful delivery, identifying and resolving skill or knowledge gaps.
  • Engage in site meetings with customers, contractors, subcontractors, and consultants, maintaining a customer‑first focus, health and safety, time constraints, and financial control.
  • Identify project issues, risks, and mitigation strategies, maintaining resilience in dynamic environments.
  • Required Qualifications
  • HND/HNC or Bachelor’s degree in Building Services, Engineering, or a related M & E background; equivalent professional experience acceptable.
  • Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Understanding of building automation systems, control systems, HVAC systems, and energy management technologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Experience with Schneider products and Eco Struxure is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Project Management certification (Prince 2, PMP or equivalent electrical qualifications) desirable but not essential.

Ensure work is designed and performed in the safest possible environment, using QMS documentation and tools to control standards.

Proactively identify skills and knowledge gaps to maintain Schneider’s safety level.
