  • Working closely with the Manufacturing Engineering Team and a team of established professional experienced engineers to support and maintain all aspects of the production test equipment.
  • Development of new and improvement to existing production test equipment, optimising and monitoring performance.

What You Will Do

We're looking for someone with a passion for success - on the job and beyond. You will need to be open to developing and being challenged. We are looking for you to be team orientated, versatile, open minded and autonomous. To succeed in the role, you will ideally need experience of automated testing solutions in an industrial manufacturing environment but would consider a Beng or Meng graduate. You will need a basic understanding of coding languages including C#/C++. You will also need a background in electrical or electronic engineering and testing coupled with an awareness of mechanical manufacturing processes.

Sound understanding of:

  • Electronic schematic drawings.
  • Automation / Controls Systems and how they function.
  • Test Software Platforms (ideally C#/C++).
  • Data Analysis using Excel.
  • Ergonomics / Health and safety, and an awareness of overall behavioural standards and compliance in the workplace.
  • 3D CAD modelling in Solid Edge or SolidWorks and automation is an advantage.

Skills

  • Enthusiasm, determination and tenacity.

  • Capable of working well under pressure / multi-tasking.
  • Good team working and pro-active approach.
  • Relevant technical knowledge and analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Ideally a Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering but would consider supporting a programme of development with Min HNC Electrical/Electronics.
  • Relevant time served preferably in high volume manufacturing environment but as said would consider a graduate.
