Are you our next Operative? Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for the right person to join our well-established team as an Operative.

What do you get to do in this position?
Responsible for the strict application of standardized processes in manufacturing / production processes across a broad scope including for example some basic maintenance processes.
Strong contributor to continuous improvement.

What are your key responsibilities in the role?
Demonstrate a number of competencies within relevant cells to support the changing needs of the customer
Apply procedures detailed within the appropriate assembly instructions and specifications
Record issues affecting the daily short interval management (SIM) objectives
Comply with the Quality, Environmental Management systems, Health & Safety Policy and Housekeeping 5S process
Complete standard tests and inspection against quality standards
Suggest proposals to improve the working procedures and cells
Identify and express to the team leader any risks regarding health and safety, quality and environment, including all incidents and near misses
All lost time in production is known and recorded

This role might be for you if?
Experience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
Provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK
English fluency is a must
