Mission: The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex, high-risk customer projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with business and customer objectives. This is a customer-facing leadership role requiring strong commercial awareness, stakeholder engagement and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a global environment.Key responsibilities:Own and lead the full project lifecycle from bid support through execution to delivery and close-out, ensuring alignment on scope, schedule, cost, resources, risks, and dependenciesServe as the main customer interface for all delivery-related topics, building strong, trust-based relationships and supporting long-term partnershipsManage overall project performance including financials (forecasting, cost control, margin), KPIs, reporting, and compliance with governance frameworks, PMO standards, and contractual obligationsIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks, issues, and opportunities while driving continuous improvement, lessons learned, and effective change and contract variation management processesLead, align, and motivate cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams (e.g. engineering, procurement, quality, suppliers) within a matrix organisation and manage subcontractors and external partnersEnsure clear, effective communication and stakeholder alignment across all organisational levelsDelivery of complex, often multi-site or international projects across industries such as water & wastewater, energy, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, utilities, manufacturing, and digital/automation environmentsSkills and attributes:Proven project management experience across all phases, delivering complex, customer-facing projectsBackground in industrial, automation, digital, or engineering environmentsKnowledge of project governance and PMO frameworksExperience in international and multi-cultural settingsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilityCustomer-focused with a strong leadership presenceHigh level of organisation and continuous improvement mindsetSolid expertise in project, risk, and contract management combined with commercial acumenWillingness to travel internationallyEducationDegree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experienceAt Schneider Electric, Diversity & Inclusion is at the heart of our organisation, it's an integral part of our history, culture, and identity.
