We are looking for an E-Commerce Operations Leader with a personal drive to contribute to the overall Schneider Electric growth plan. You will report to the eCommerce Director UK&I.

Mission of the role

As the new E-commerce Operations Leader, you will work across our business and partners to grow E-Commerce sales, whilst developing improved eCommerce functionality within the industry. As the leader of a high energy and fast-paced team, you will own the eCommerce strategy for UK&I operations, responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the eCommerce function. This will include clear goal setting, target driving and team coaching, along with highlighting areas of improvement required to go even faster. You will be responsible for executing business strategy and manage business operations for multiple stakeholders and have the ability to influence to deliver some of the most transformative projects.

What you’ll be working on
  • Leadership of a highly motivated and engaged eCommerce team.
  • Continued build out of required roles (rebalancing of resources), development and coaching of those individuals.
  • Ownership and development of the 4 Year E-Commerce Growth Plan within UK&I, working very closely with the Omnichannel Director to ensure you have the resources and tools in place to succeed.
  • Wider business engagement across all business units to ensure we focus on every growth opportunity in an agnostic way – focus is on driving profitable and sustainable growth.
  • Responsibility for adoption of eCommerce as best practice within the industry as far as possible, external engagement with partners, EDA and EDATA, plus other bodies, to ensure Schneider Electric is seen as the driving force of eCommerce.
  • Support and suggest technology to improve buying journeys.
  • Execute strategy while helping to champion the vision of one of the largest and fastest growing eCommerce companies in the world.
Your responsibilities:
  • Continued development and adoption of the UK&I eCommerce Strategy with key Global and Local stakeholders.
  • Build relationships within channel partner companies to ensure adoption and delivery of eCommerce as a preferred route to market.
  • Ownership of the various eCommerce programmes and plans, development of working groups and driving change through the industry.
  • Work with KAMs and internal customer base to ensure focus channel partners are on track with eCommerce growth plans.
  • Ownership and ability to build plans to grow eCommerce sell-out against the annual targets.
  • Flexibility to adapt plans based on key analytical insight and key metrics that show areas for improvement/focus.
  • Dotted reporting line to VP eCommerce Operations Europe, and member of the Europe Ops eCommerce Leadership team.
  • Relationships with Global Marketing teams and wider Global eCommerce Teams to ensure UK&I is kept on the radar and delivering best practice.
  • Understand environmental factors and incorporate into project feasibility.
  • Be the voice of eCommerce within Schneider Electric, promoting the cause internally and externally to bring everyone on the journey.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Provide insight and development opportunities for associates.
  • Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments.
Qualifications:
  • A completed Bachelor or Master degree or significant experience within a digital organisation.
  • A minimum work experience of 3 years in e-commerce / digital industry.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a customer-facing role and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work as part of a self-motivated and results-driven team.
  • Ability to work at pace, with clear plans set out for the week/month/quarter/year to ensure delivery against targets.
  • Can-Do attitude, passion and proof of results delivery.
  • Ability to produce on-time quality deliverables in a deadline-driven environment while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Cross-functional project management skills, self-starter and accustomed to leading projects with little supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills including meeting facilitation and making presentations to senior managers.
  • Highly motivated and passionate about ecommerce.
