What do you get to do in this position?

  • Ensure the proper functioning of the Equipment manufactured in compliance with the rules of art, technical guides, engineering drawings, and ensure the safety of persons and property in the working area.
  • Troubleshoot issues and support assembly technicians in root cause analysis.

What are your key responsibilities in the role?

  • To be able to safely connect unit(s) to the mains power supply ensuring all requirements and protocols are being adhered to.
  • Read and understand schematic and GA drawings.
  • Primary Injection Testing.
  • CT Test & VT Test.
  • Secondary Injection Testing.
  • Ductor Testing & HV pressure testing.
  • Secondary wiring insulation Test Megger and 2KV.
  • Load PSL and validate.
  • Full Scheme Functionality Testing.
  • Prepare and perform Factory Acceptance Test with the customer.
  • Ensure the closing of detected issues (Snag list) and share with Project Manager.
  • Professionally interact with the customer during the FAT in line with Schneider Electric's core values.

This role might be for you if?

  • NVQ LII PEO or Experience Equivalent (ONC Electrical Level).
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
  • Provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK.
  • English fluency is a must.
