The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
This role will require a hands-on approach to understand the operations of the Transactional Business, build the strategy of insight creation and deliver multiple outputs relating, but exclusive to forecasting, eCommerce, Market Analysis, Pricing and more.
The Insight Analyst will have end to end autonomy to strategise how Intel and Insights are built, developed and shared. This is an important addition to Channel Commercial and Transactional Team; the Insight Analyst will be at the core of active decision making for a £350m BU to accelerate to £0.5bn by 2026.
You will leverage more than just creating data views – they will know of how to act on them and be able to influence others on adopting an insights driven mentality.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving an insights driven culture within immediate teams such as sales, finance, marketing, commercial, and pricing, demonstrating the impact of these initiatives. Embracing change management, the Insight Analyst will be part of the wider and ongoing transformation of our Transactional Business., * Managing the operational relationship between the Transactional Business and the local & global Data Hubs and AI teams.

Own the Transactional Commercial Intelligence transformation journey, providing a slicker and convincing message to share to internal and external stakeholders

Build and deployment of the Transactional Insights strategy across disciplines including:

Forecasting, Sales (Sell In, Sell Out, Orders, Nets) and Quantity

Profitability, Return on Investment and Time Value

Offer, Economic and Market related Intelligence

Customer Engagement, Interactions and Opportunity Pipeline

Digital Marketing (Clicks, Conversion, SEO) and more…

Delivery of regular insights (via calls, presentations, weekly newsletters, Excel spreadsheets and Tableau Dashboards) to a variety of Transactional, Zone and Global stakeholders, including Area Sales Managers, Regional Directors, Key Account Managers, VPs and more.

Work directly with customers to streamline the data capture and preparation, ensuring that data sharing practices maintain security and integrity.

Collaborate with the wider Transactional Team and other BUs to support shared growth for the UK&I zone and share Business strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities

Ensure Stakeholders have the ability to view insights with relevance and ease.

Proven Commercial and Business acumen

Proficient skills in Microsoft office, but not limited to Word, Powerpoint & Excel.

Adept at Data mining, preparation, manipulation and modelling (experience with Tableau and Alteryx is valuable).

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Supported on transformational topics and demonstrate change management.

Experience in dealing with senior stakeholders.
Education

BA/BSc (or equivalent) in Statistics / Economics / Maths / Computing / other Data related studies.

Ideally experienced with Altreyx and Tableau.

Knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Power Platforms is also valuable.
