BMS Commissioning Engineer in Harrogate

To become part of a project delivery team to provide exceptional support to various customer sites around Yorkshire

Key Responsibilities:

• Working in end user projects , on our customer sites around the Yorkshire region
• To pre-commission control panels, field devices onto new and existing systems. Working on Schneider Ecostruxure software and graphics.
• To commission field controllers, networks and field devices into a complete control system
• Work closely with project managers to deliver to a design and site programs
• Writing and commissioning controller software through to the Graphical User Interface
• To ensure a safe and healthy working environment for themselves and others, at office or site locations.
• To also be available to commission door access systems on our customers sites using Schneider Security Expert software and hardware. Training given on all products.

Skills and attributes:

• Experience in BMS commissioning or service work preferred. Training provided for Schneider Ecostruxure. Any BMS experience on other systems preferred
• HVAC install or commissioning experience and knowledge preferred
• Some electrical skills , ability to fault find electrical connections and read panel drawings
• Experience of working in a customer-focused environment, working within a team and using your initiative to achieve the delivery of projects
• Experience with door access solutions (desirable.)
• PC Skills and technical skills on a laptop , working on word and excel, saving and moving files as a minimum
• Must be willing to travel to work each day across the region
• Full driving license
• Fluent in English, written and verbal

Education:

• Some interest in STEM or technical background
• Some electrical or mechanical background or knowledge preferred
• Experience in BMS or Access control preferred
