Mission:
Manage and maintaining accurate records of project/product documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, and facilitating the efficient flow of information within the organization. This includes activities like creating, storing, retrieving, and managing documents, as well as tracking revisions and versions.
Key responsibilities:
- Organize & maintain all types of documents, including technical drawings, specifications, work instructions, quality control procedures, and other relevant paperwork.
- Maintain accurate records of document revisions and ensure the correct version of each document is always used.
- Embracing innovation and new ways of working and sharing of best practice with other internal stakeholders / Drive continuous improvement by developing case studies and applying them to new projects
- Manage the workflow of documents throughout their lifecycle, from creation to archiving, ensuring they are available to the right people at the right time
- Use and support document control systems and software to manage documents efficiently.
- Drive improvements in the output from the Customer Solution Survey / Evidence of continuous improvement based on feedback received / Adherence to the customer complaint process / Driving target improvements in the NPS score.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective document management practices.
- Generate reports on document status, revisions, and other relevant information for management.
Skills and attributes:
- Effectively manage a large volume of documents and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using document control software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of document control procedures and best practices.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and relevant documentation.
Education
STEM focused Level 4 qualification or equivalent experience
