We are looking for a Tendering Engineer with an interest in front‑end design, consulting, and estimation to join our team in the UK. The successful candidate will work across a portfolio of key customers, developing designs and helping estimate the cost of our offers.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare design schemes and solutions based on the requirements and client requests
  • Work with engineers in the BMS team and power monitoring teams to get additional design inputs for complex schemes
  • Work with sub‑contractors for panels quotes
  • Work with sub‑contractors for installation quotes
  • Prepare cost estimates and manage internal approvals on costs as appropriate
  • Present the offers to clients, and attend mid‑bid and post‑bid clarification meetings
  • Work with sales to attend negotiations and close out contracts
  • Prepare handover to operations for delivery
  • Provide support to forecasting
  • Support the introduction of new technologies and solutions to clients
  • Update work efforts in SE CRM tool (BFO)

Skills & Experience

  • Be able to demonstrate related work experience and a strong track record in a similar role
  • Qualified to degree level in relevant discipline (Engineering) or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated background with building management systems
  • Passionate about engineering design
  • Ability to engage with customers and account managers in workshops and draw out technical requirements
  • Strong communication and time‑management skills
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) is a must
  • Effective in MS Office packages
