Responsibilities
- Principal point of contact for assigned projects, communicating with customers and key stakeholders on all delivery activities.
- Deliver projects within the assigned area of responsibility, ensuring high customer satisfaction and business growth.
- Facilitate collaboration and teamwork between the project team and all stakeholders to maximise project success.
- Maintain proactive internal and external communication, hold necessary meetings, provide formal progress reports, identify key issues, and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Own delivery plans to meet the customer-defined programme and deadlines, reviewing and updating progress dynamically and coordinating recovery actions if delays occur.
- Prepare and update resource planning across all projects in close coordination with department managers, based on project deadlines, progress, and resource capacity.
- Monitor costs against progress on all projects, highlight potential overspend, and coordinate mitigation plans to prevent schedule slippage.
- Organise task assignment to remote engineering support and production teams to ensure deliverable milestones are achieved.
Qualifications
- Recognised Project Management qualifications and demonstrable experience in a BMS Engineering role.
- Strong track record in project management practices within the BMS segment or similar.
- Knowledge and training in the BMS segment, including HVAC system engineering.
- Experience and knowledge of environmental systems connected to the BMS such as Lighting and Access Control.
- Proficiency with project management software tools (MS Excel, MS Project).
- Ability to own and follow through on commitments to completion.
- Experience in financial and contract management of a project is desirable.
- Self-driven, can work independently without supervision.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required.
- Full driving licence is required.
