In this role you will supervise, develop and lead a well‑established team of 15‑20 shop‑floor workers and ensure the safe and efficient manufacture and test of Schneider Electric range of products.
Key responsibilities:- Lead the production team.
- Ensure a safe working environment and that all legal Health and Safety obligations are met; support Health and Safety representatives.
- Ensure all personnel are H&S conscious and fully aware of their obligations.
- Motivate staff, monitor, control and report upon the delivery performance of the production area.
- Strive to deliver cost‑effective improvements into the efficiency of the production area and provide evidence of such improvements.
- Determine and, in agreement with the Process Manager, implement training requirements to meet present and future needs; maintain training records in accordance with Company procedures.
- Adequate GCSE grades in English and Maths.
- Extensive practical experience in a similar Team Leader role.
- Knowledge and understanding of staff supervision practices.
