About the Role
Schneider Electric is seeking an E‑Commerce Operations Leader to drive growth across UK&I, reporting to the eCommerce Director UK&I. The role will own the eCommerce strategy, growth plan and execution of high‑impact projects, while leading a fast‑paced team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a highly motivated eCommerce team, driving goal setting, performance and coaching.
- Develop and execute the 4‑Year UK&I eCommerce Growth Plan in close partnership with the Omnichannel Director.
- Engage with all business units to identify and pursue profitable, sustainable growth opportunities.
- Champion eCommerce best practice industry‑wide and represent Schneider Electric to external partners and industry bodies.
- Identify and recommend technology solutions to improve buying journeys.
- Maintain close relationships with channel partner companies to ensure adoption of eCommerce as a preferred market route.
- Own eCommerce programmes and plans, facilitating working groups and driving change across the industry.
- Collaborate with KAMs and internal stakeholders to keep channel partners on track with growth plans.
- Report to the VP eCommerce Operations Europe and sit on the Europe Ops eCommerce Leadership team.
- Keep global marketing and eCommerce teams informed, aligning UK&I initiatives with best practice.
- Incorporate environmental factors into project feasibility analyses.
- Act as the voice of eCommerce within Schneider Electric, promoting its value internally and externally.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide career development insights and opportunities for associates.
- Coordinate, complete, and oversee all job‑related activities and assignments.
Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor or Master degree (or equivalent experience) in a digital or relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in e‑commerce or digital industry.
- Minimum 3 years in a customer‑facing role with ability to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Self‑motivated and results‑driven, comfortable leading a team.
- High‑speed performer with clear plans for week, month, quarter and year to meet targets.
- Can‑do attitude, passion and proven track record of delivering results.
- Ability to produce high‑quality deliverables on deadline while balancing multiple priorities.
- Cross‑functional project management skills and self‑starter with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including facilitation and presentation to senior managers.
- Highly motivated and passionate about e‑commerce.
