Schneider Electric Advisory Services is growing its UK Business Development team and is looking for an energetic, driven Business Development Manager to help organisations take meaningful action on climate change.

The Role

  • Lead on winning new business and growing existing client accounts across the UK & Ireland — typically within FTSE 100/250 and large corporate environments.
  • Identify opportunities, build strong relationships, and close high‑value deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development through online and offline lead generation.
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts.
  • Lead and support sales meetings, proposals, and pitches.
  • Qualify inbound leads in collaboration with Marketing.
  • Contribute to the improvement of sales collateral and service offerings.
  • Capture accurate data in the CRM and provide reliable reporting.
  • Collaborate with advisory teams to ensure exceptional client delivery.
  • Communicate market insights and customer feedback internally.

About You

  • 3+ years’ proven sales success within sustainability, carbon, environmental or energy services.
  • Strong understanding of climate action, sustainability, and related markets.
  • Track record of closing significant business with FTSE‑level clients.
  • Confident in consultative selling, relationship building, and communication.
  • Proactive, hands‑on, and comfortable with outreach, travel, and supporting colleagues.
  • Passionate about sustainability and eager to continuously learn.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong drive to succeed.
  • Team‑oriented, collaborative, and people‑focused.
  • High integrity, excellent communication, and strong relationship‑building skills.
  • Energetic, motivated, and commercially astute.
