We are looking for an immediate need for a temporary Logistics Coordinator (Maternity Cover) located in Aberdeen. This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.

What You Will Do
- Be safety conscious and comply with the company's zero tolerance safety culture.
- Provide the on time in full (OTIF) distribution, transportation and logistical solutions for inbound and outbound movement of products & materials from origin to destination as per the customer’s requirements.
- Work in a fast-paced environment supplying chemicals for the oil & gas sector.
- Produce accurate documentation relating to each delivery.
- Ensure each load complies with ADR/IMDG regulations and finished products are compatible to be shipped together.
- Complete the process of picking and booking customer orders on SAP.
- Liaise with Planning, Customer services and other members of the team to ensure orders are prepared and shipped in full on time.
- Liaise with external haulage providers and freight forwarders arranging daily transport requirements for customer collections & deliveries.
- Communicate changes and delays effectively to customer service, carriers and freight forwarders.
- Solve day to day problems by making decisions and escalating to superiors on how best to manage carrier and customer relationships to optimize risks, costs and time.
- Handle carrier service issues/incidents and resolve routine conflicts between customer’s requirements and demand issues through interaction with external customer service team, demand planner and Logistics manager.
- Perform data entry and extraction using spreadsheets and databases based on inbound and outbound delivery functions.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years' experience in a relevant role or a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject.
- Dangerous Goods training - understanding of ADR and IMDG requirements along with certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Decision making & problem-solving skills.
- Ability to respond to change or create change.
- Team oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Logistics/transportation experience.
- CILT or Supply Chain diploma.
- Experience in working closely with 3rd party partners.
- Imports/exports experience.
- Experience working within SAP, Teams & Kabal shipping systems.
