A reputable organisation in the manufacturing sector is seeking an Occupational Medical Practitioner (OMP) to provide essential occupational health services at their Glencoe facility. You will play a key role in supporting the health and safety of employees through medical surveillance, risk management, and compliance with relevant legislation.
WHAT YOU WILL DO- Provide occupational health services in line with MHSA regulations
- Conduct medical surveillance and health assessments
- Identify and manage workplace health risks
- Offer medical advice and support on employee health and safety matters
- Ensure compliance with occupational health legislation and standards
- Work collaboratively with management and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate medical records and reporting
- Qualification in Occupational Medicine
- Registered Medical Practitioner with a relevant professional body
- Experience in occupational health (mining, construction, or manufacturing preferred)
- Strong knowledge of MHSA and related legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Attendance required at the Occupational Health Centre (Glencoe)
- Approximately 1–2 hours per week (flexible schedule)
- Public holidays excluded unless otherwise arranged
