Are you a Cost Accountant with experience in a manufacturing environment and a passion for analysing costs, improving efficiencies, and supporting operational decision-making?
Our client, a leading manufacturer of retail display and point-of-sale solutions, is looking for a Cost Accountant to join their finance team. This newly created position offers an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level finance professional to play a key role in monitoring manufacturing costs, supporting financial reporting, and driving continuous improvement across the business.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Analyse manufacturing and production costs.
- Monitor material, labour and overhead costs.
- Assist with inventory valuation and stock reconciliations.
- Prepare cost reports and variance analyses.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist with month-end reporting and financial analysis.
- Work closely with production and operations teams to improve cost efficiencies.
- Monitor inventory movements and manufacturing performance.
- Assist with product costing and profitability analysis.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or Cost & Management Accounting.
- Previous Cost Accounting experience within a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Experience with inventory, stock and manufacturing costing.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and numerical ability.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach and willingness to grow within the role.
