Responsibilities include:

  • Carry out routine servicing of lift equipment, including minor repair work and the routine replacement of components in accordance with approved company procedures (PPE, PDA, Expert+ etc).
  • Check the lift function as part of maintenance, including speed, motor start/stop, weight, noise, temperature, and power supplies using approved company issued tooling and protective equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspection and adjustment of lifts in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Reinstate lift/escalator and complete service documentation.
  • Carry out advanced fault finding and diagnostic procedures using a range of techniques, technical manuals, and appropriate test equipment, restoring equipment to service.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Lift Servicing/Maintenance/Repairs preferred.
  • Qualified to NVQ level 3 minimum in Lift maintenance or equivalent.
  • Advanced Electrical and Mechanical knowledge, including Multi-Brand equipment.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • The ability to work independently with a flexible approach.
  • Good communication skills at different levels (Client/Service Leader/Inspectors).
  • Manual dexterity - Requires the use of hands, arms, and feet for repetitive lifting.
