Job description:
- Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of engineers to meet operational goals.
- Recruit, train, and support team members, ensuring they excel in their roles.
- Maintain accurate records using SAP and oversee weekly updates.
- Conduct regular safety audits, implement best practices, and promote a culture of safety.
- Collaborate with the Projects Manager to negotiate costs and manage quotations.
- Oversee timely planning for deliveries, materials, and tooling.
- Build strong relationships with customers, acting as their point of contact.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies while setting a personal example of excellence.
Profile description:
- A qualification in NVQ or HND (or equivalent).
- Proven experience as an installation engineer and managing small teams.
- Strong knowledge of current lift industry standards and legislation.
- Outstanding problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
- A proactive approach with a keen attention to detail and commercial awareness.
- A full, valid driving licence and experience with SAP (preferred).
