Lead Business Finance Controller (Fixed Term Contract)
Location: Addlestone, England, United Kingdom
Contract: Fixed-term, 9-12 months • Full-time (37 hours per week) • Hybrid working (Addlestone Office)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Take ownership of the business P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and maximising cash flow.
- Lead month-end processes, ensuring accurate financial records and fostering transparency for audits.
- Partner with business leaders to deliver strategic insights and drive profitability improvements.
- Develop relationships with customers to negotiate and drive commercial success.
- Support continuous improvement in finance processes and operational excellence.
What We’re Looking For
- A qualified finance professional (CIMA, ACCA) with 7+ years of experience.
- Expertise in financial controlling, management, and process improvement.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience in SAP and Power BI is a plus.
- Industry knowledge in construction, services, or related fields.

Schindler UK & Ireland is seeking a dynamic and accomplished Lead Business Finance Controller to join us on a fixed-term contract for 9-12 months. Based at our Addlestone Office with hybrid working, you’ll drive excellence and transformation within our finance operations. This is a full-time role working Monday through to Friday, 37 hours a week.
