We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Management Accountant to join our Accounting & Shared Services team based in Addlestone, Surrey. This is a varied role offering exposure across management accounting, reporting, treasury and financial accounting activities within a global organisation. You'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting business decision-making and driving continuous improvement across the finance function. The role also provides the opportunity to support and mentor an Accounting Apprentice, helping to develop the next generation of finance talent while working closely with stakeholders across the UK, Ireland and wider Group.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow reporting.
  • Manage accruals, prepayments, journals and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Analyse monthly overhead performance, providing meaningful insight and commentary to support decision-making.
  • Manage intercompany recharges, reconciliations and reporting across the wider Group.
  • Support quarterly, half-year and year-end reporting requirements, including IFRS16 lease accounting.
  • Oversee key accounts payable activities, ensuring invoices, supplier accounts and payments are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Support internal and external audits while maintaining strong controls, documentation and a focus on continuous process improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across finance and the wider business, providing support across treasury and financial accounting activities when required.

What you bring:

  • Proven management accounting experience, ideally gained within a fast-paced finance environment.
  • Strong understanding of month-end processes, reconciliations, journals, accruals and financial reporting.
  • At least three years' experience in a finance role, supported by solid accounting fundamentals.
  • An analytical and organised approach, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels and contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Comfortable working independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with SAP experience highly regarded.
  • Fully Qualified CIMA, ACCA or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  • Previous experience supporting, coaching or mentoring junior team members would be beneficial.
