Schenk UK, formally known as Suttons Tankers, is an innovative national tanker haulage business that operates a nationwide road tanker fleet, successfully serving the chemicals, gas, fuels, waste, and powders sectors for over 60 years. We are looking for an experienced LGV Driver to join our Wastewater Sector based in Rotherham. The position runs Monday to Friday days.
You will be responsible for collecting liquid waste products and sludges from our customers across the country, working mainly on our Victrex contract, but cross-training on our other contracts will be required.
Pay Rates:
- £14.27 per hour
- Overtime at £21.41 after 8 hours per shift (Monday to Friday)
- £40.06 per night out
- £20.78 per hour for first 5 hours on a Saturday; thereafter at £28.54 per hour
- £28.54 per hour on Sunday shifts
- £28.54 per hour on Bank Holidays plus standard Bank holiday pay
- 45 hours guarantee
- Fully paid breaks and paid ADR & CPC refreshers
Essential Requirements:
- LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points
- Tachograph card
- Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Valid ADR licence (all classes other than 1 & 7)
- Strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation
- Safety focus
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience and 2 years tanker experience
In addition, overtime is available, CPC training hours, courses, CPC accreditation, and driver medicals are all paid for. Full PPE is provided.
