Schenk UK is an innovative, national tanker haulage business operating one of the largest road tanker fleets in the country. For over 60 years, we have served the chemicals, gas, fuels, waste, and powders sectors, becoming the UK's largest chemical transporter.
We are looking for an experienced Fuel Tanker Driver (Class 1 ADR) to join our team based at Ellesmere Port. We have a number of various tramper shift patterns available (5 from 7). You will be responsible for delivering fuel to our customers across the country on an afternoon shift. You will deliver fuel between fuel terminals, client sites and potentially retail sites as necessary.
Responsibilities:- Deliver fuel to customers across the country on an afternoon shift.
- Transport between fuel terminals, client sites and potentially retail sites as required.
- Operate within applicable legal and safety requirements for tanker transportation.
- 50 hours guarantee £21.63 per hour for the first 10 hours Monday - Friday
- Overtime hours at £28.84 after 10 hours Monday - Friday
- £28.84 per hour on Saturdays
- £32.45 per hour on Sundays
- £43.26 per hour paid Bank Holidays plus Standard Bank holiday pay
- £21.63 per shift Night Shift allowance
- £5.80 per day meal allowance paid weekly
- FULLY PAID BREAKS and paid ADR & CPC Refreshers
- An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points
- A tachograph card
- A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
- A valid ADR licence all classes other than 1 & 7 - Not essential, Minimum class 3 required or petroleum
- A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation
- A safety focus
- Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience
- A valid PDP (Petroleum Driver Passport)
- At least 2 years Tanker Experience
Expected earnings on these shift patterns would give an average annual salary of £54,988.84 with minimal overtime. Please note these figures are indicative earnings for this group; actual earnings will vary depending on the hours worked. In addition, overtime is available, CPC training hours, courses and CPC accreditation and driver medicals are all paid for. Full PPE is provided.
