Schenk UK is an innovative, national tanker haulage business operating one of the largest road tanker fleets in the country. For over 60 years, we have proudly served the chemicals, gas, fuels, waste and powders sectors, becoming the UK's largest chemical transporter.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Class 1 LGV Fuel Driver to join our team based at Ellesmere Port, working a Monday‑to‑Friday tramping shift pattern. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A TRAMPING ROLE.
Pay Rates:
- £21.63 per hour with a 10‑hour guarantee per shift
- £28.84 per hour overtime (Monday‑to‑Friday after 10 hours)
- £28.84 per hour for all hours worked on Saturdays
- £32.45 per hour for all hours worked on Sundays
- £43.26 per hour for worked hours on Bank Holidays (plus day in lieu)
- £33.40 per Night shift worked
- £4.15 meal payment per shift
FULLY PAID BREAKS and paid ADR & CPC Refreshers.
Essential Requirements:
- An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points
- A tachograph card
- A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
- A valid ADR licence all classes other than 1 & 7
- A strong understanding of Driver Transport LegislationA safety focus
- Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience
- At least 2 years Tanker Experience
- A valid PDP (Petroleum Driver Passport)
The Package:
In addition, overtime is available, CPC training hours, courses and CPC accreditation and driver medicals are all paid for. Full PPE is provided.
