Schenk UK formally known as Suttons Tankers are an innovative national tanker haulage business, that operates a nationwide road tanker fleet which has been successfully serving the chemicals, gas, fuels, waste, and powders sectors for over 60 years, and is the largest chemical transporter in the UK.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced LGV Driver (Class 1 ADR) to join our team based at our Scunthorpe depot, working a 4 on 4 off days shift pattern.
Pay Rates:
Day Driver – £37,394.58 p.a

- This equates to an hourly rate of £17.87
- This value is paid weekly i.e. \”smoothed earnings\” – this ensures a consistent level of weekly pay @ 3.5 days or 40.25 hours is paid each week (irrespective of the number of hours within the shift pattern) – this excludes any additional payment for overtime
FULLY PAID BREAKS and paid ADR & CPC Refreshers
Essential Requirements:
An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points
A tachograph card
A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
A valid ADR licence all classes other than 1 & 7
A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation
A safety focus
Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience
Minimum 2 years Tanker Experience
In addition, overtime is available, CPC training hours, courses and CPC accreditation and driver medicals are all paid for. Full PPE is provided.
