  • Plan driver rotas in line with shift patterns, available hours, holidays and sickness
  • Ensure legal compliance in relation to vehicle defects, servicing and MOTs
  • Record and report all accidents, incidents and near misses in line with company procedures
  • Maintain clear and accurate communication with drivers regarding start times, load details and operational updates
  • Escalate driver concerns appropriately and support positive engagement and morale
  • Utilise the Transport Management System to maximise route efficiencies
  • Conduct effective shift handovers and collaborate with other planners

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate and resolve operational issues
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

The Package:

  • Competitive salary up to £35,000 per annum
  • 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
  • Company pension scheme
  • Access to a confidential Employee Assistance Programme provided by Spectrum Life, available to employees and their immediate family
