As Workshop Manager, you’ll be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the workshop, ensuring high productivity, exceptional quality of work, and outstanding customer satisfaction. You’ll lead a team of technicians, manage workflow, and maintain high health & safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day workshop operations
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of technicians and apprentices
- Allocate work efficiently to maximise productivity
- Ensure repairs and servicing are completed to the highest standards
- Monitor KPIs, profitability, and labour performance
- Maintain compliance with UK health & safety regulations
- Liaise with customers and service advisors to deliver excellent service
- Manage stock control and parts ordering
- Proven experience in a workshop supervisory or management role
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle / trailer diagnostics, servicing, and repairs
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills
- Commercial awareness and ability to drive performance
- Strong communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
