Schenk UK is a leading national tanker haulage business, operating one of the largest and most modern fleets in the country. With over 60 years of expertise, we support the chemicals, gas, fuels, waste, and powders sectors—and are proud to be the UK’s largest chemical transporter.
We’re now looking for a qualified HGV Technician to join our Stockton workshop. This is a 4 on 4 off days shift pattern, working as part of a supportive team.
The Role:
- Routine servicing, inspections, and maintenance
- Defect diagnosis and repairs
- MOT preparation and compliance checks
- Breakdown support when required
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification (desirable)
- Experience with HGV/trailer maintenance (essential)
- Tanker experience
- Understanding of MOT standards and vehicle compliance
- Strong commitment to health & safety
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Additional licences such as HGV or ADR are beneficial but not required
