Schenk UK, formally known as Suttons Tankers, is an innovative national tanker haulage business that operates a nationwide road tanker fleet, successfully serving the chemicals, gas, fuels, waste, and powders sectors for over 60 years. It is the largest chemical transporter in the UK.

The Role: We are looking for experienced LGV Drivers to join our Wastewater Sector based at Rotherham. The position is Monday to Friday Days. You will be responsible for collecting liquid waste products and sludges from our customers across the country, working mainly on our Victrex contract; however, cross-training on our other contracts will be required.

Pay Rates:

  • £14.27 per hour
  • Overtime hours at £21.41 after 8 hours per shift Monday to Friday
  • £40.06 per night out
  • £20.78 per hour for the first 5 hours on a Saturday, then any additional hours at £28.54 per hour
  • £28.54 per hour paid for Sunday shifts
  • £28.54 per hour paid on Bank Holidays plus Standard Bank holiday pay
  • 45 hours guarantee
  • FULLY PAID BREAKS and paid ADR & CPC Refreshers

Essential Requirements:

  • An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points
  • A tachograph card
  • A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
  • A valid ADR licence (all classes other than 1 & 7)
  • A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation
  • A safety focus
  • Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience
  • Minimum 2 years Tanker Experience

  • CPC training hours, courses, and CPC accreditation and driver medicals are all paid for
  • Full PPE is provided
