Your Key Responsibilities:
- Realize new production technologies in the plant.
- Provide requirement specification for new machine or equipment.
- Select equipment and technology from the research of different machine tools/equipment and their suppliers.
- Align with capital expenditure approval and purchasing processes.
- Analyze challenges for production of new products (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly).
- Analyze production feasibility for new products. Best process to produce product with cost estimates.
- Review/analyze/consider current production machines/equipment/technology performance information (quality, setup time, cycle time, tool cost, etc.) versus performance of new or improved.
- Provide setup parameter data (e.g. Setup Sheet).
- Provide operator instruction for the technological tasks of the process.
- Assess skill and training level required to achieve qualification regarding the technology.
- Suggest training, coaching and experiences required.
Your Qualifications:
- Technical degree, diploma or experience.
- Experience in manufacturing or similar environment.
- Experience working in functional and cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical thinking skills.
- Goal and results oriented.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience in ERP, preferably SAP.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodology for example: Value Streams, MTM, Ergonomics.
- Working knowledge of PCs and applicable software.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
