Your Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a minimum of one production process performing single and/or multiple functions, which may include CNC or manually controlled equipment
- Perform problem solving and troubleshoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards
- Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced by machine. Analyze machine problems and take corrective action in timely manner
- Required to perform inspection of own work using precision measuring equipment as provided or directed to assess quality of work
- Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems
- Required to perform inspection of own work
- Certified Operator Program
- Required to train other operators as needed
- May be required to work in other departments or occasionally to set up a machine for others to operate
- Ability to read and interpret production prints
- Requires adequate computer skills to access production procedures to perform the required work
- Responsible for excellent housekeeping and maintaining 5S in all areas
- Meet the skill requirements identified in the applicable training matrix, and maintain certification through company
Your Qualifications
- Education: Grade 12 diploma
- Experience: Equivalent machining background or mechanical aptitude
