- Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for manufacturing area and related support functions
- Daily scheduling meetings and activities with Production Leaders
- Verify capacity and demand risks, highlighting and communicating constraints
- Update SAP Material Masters
- Communicate with external suppliers
- Monitor deliveries from suppliers for assigned materials and update SAP
- Planning – Creation of releases and EDI transmission to suppliers
- Monitor inventory levels, react accordingly to min and max
- Support inventory and cost reduction activities
- Analyze MRP run and determine demand
- Order management including purchase orders, production orders to tool centers and scheduling agreements with suppliers of assigned materials
- Provide consumption reports as needed
- Other activities/projects as assigned
- Your Qualifications
- Currently enrolled at a post‑secondary educational institution in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management program
- Solid knowledge of computer applications and software
- Strong knowledge and skills in MS Excel
- Ease at math and problem solving
- Some flexibility with working hours
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic knowledge in SAP
- Consistent and effective planning abilities
- Disciplined, organized and attentive to detail
