Primary Objective of Position : This position assumes the ownership and growth of IMS SIMS service offerings
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Process daily orders, manage & expedite backordered material
- Provide telephone/email customer service, respond to customer requests
- Develop and maintain effective and positive customer relationships
- Enter and maintain customer part file, order and handling notes
- Enter credits, rebills, and ship/pick up exchanges
- Respond effectively and in a timely manner to internal requests
- Review and streamline tasks and processes to maximize efficiency
- Sourcing IMS and SIMS products to fulfill customer needs
- Customer billing and spreadsheet tracking maintenance
- Continue personal development and product knowledge education
- Continue understanding of project coordination, material scheduling, and overall project management
- Ongoing understanding of Eclipse procedures and how they apply to SIMS/IMS accounts
- Follow up on all open orders, bids, and credits with customer until completed
- Check and respond promptly to all e-mails, voice mails, and Eclipse messages daily
- Attend all required training and meetings, record training hours in Eclipse
Knowledge / Experience / Education
- Possess good time management skills
- Highly motivated and positive attitude
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills – familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, Internet Explorer.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Possess good organizational skills
Required Behaviors
- Check and respond to all voice mail, e-mail and Eclipse messages daily
- Attend all required training and meetings, and properly record training hours
in Eclipse.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
