Job Title: New Business Sales Executive
As a New Business Sales Executive, you will develop sales strategies and be responsible for attracting new clients and customers. You will investigate and proactively generate new sales opportunities, attend appointments and close deals. You will nurture long‑standing relationships with customers and identify a full range of opportunities across the SCG product/service portfolio. You will be working in a supportive environment and there will be product training offered to the successful candidate.
Key Tasks
- Working closely with the prospective customer to understand their requirements, and the most appropriate solution from the range of SCG products and services.
- Pro‑actively self‑generate sales via canvassing, networking and new business events an opportunity to sign business your way and be creative.
- Generate and attend sales appointments.
- Supported with strong marketing campaigns and seasonal offers.
- Accurately record and maintain records of all sales activity through the designated business systems.
- Work to achieve, and exceed, your monthly target and contribute towards team/business unit target.
- Acquisition of new customers.
- Cross sell/upsell to existing customers.
- Nurture close working relationships with all customers.
