Overview

We are currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant position for SCG Connected located in Dummer, Basingstoke. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in an accounting career or wanting to develop existing skills for a dynamic and fast-paced business with plans to double revenues in the next 3-5 years. As part of a growing finance team you will be responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping for the SCG Connected and any other Group business run out of the Basingstoke head office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing of supplier invoices and payments.
  • Bank statement posting and bank reconciliations.
  • Dealing with supplier queries.
  • Processing employee expenses and payments.
  • Liaising with credit control to resolve any bank receipt queries.
  • Liaising with project teams regarding purchase order invoices and cost reconciliation.
  • Providing support to the financial controller in month end processing, including analysis.
  • Any other ad hoc project work.

Key Requirements

  • No qualifications are necessary, as full training will be provided.
  • Experience of working within a finance team or similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook would be an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Car driver in order to get to the office location.
