Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm

SCG is seeking a dynamic and experienced Group Marketing Manager to lead our marketing team. The successful candidate will support the development and implementation of marketing strategies that drive growth and enhance our brand presence. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a proven track record in marketing management.

  • Influence and oversee the delivery of the Group Marketing Plan.
  • Maintain the communication of the published marketing plan with key stakeholders.
  • Work with the Deputy Marketing Manager/Project Manager to ensure efficient allocation and pacing of marketing resources to deliver on our deadlines.
  • Own the responsibility for tracking the ROI of key projects, feeding into dashboards and board reports.
  • Analyse the performance and successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Brand guardianship, including key company messages (Be More).
  • Support the operationalising, development and execution of Marketing Strategies: Work with the Group Marketing Director to create and implement comprehensive marketing plans to achieve company objectives and drive brand awareness (Particular focus on the Primary Care vertical in the immediate short-term).
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 8 marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Systems Manager to ensure the roadmap of systems development supports the delivery of a successful ROI-led and data-driven marketing strategy.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and print, as laid out in the Group Marketing plan.
  • Market Research: Keep a finger on the pulse of trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform and influence marketing strategies.
  • Budget Management: Be mindful of the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and ROI on marketing activities.
  • Brand Management: Maintain and enhance the company's brand image and reputation through consistent messaging and creative marketing initiatives.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to the Head of Group Marketing.
  • Content Creation: Oversee the creation of engaging and relevant content for various marketing channels, including press releases, ensuring consistency in tone and messaging.
  • Help plan and execute company events, webinars, trade shows, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.

Bachelors degree in marketing or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Proven track record of executing successful marketing strategies to drive clear ROI.

Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software.

A bachelors degree in marketing, Business, or a related field is advantageous.

Proven working experience in the marketing environment.

Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
