Reconciliation Analyst
Dummer, Basingstoke
£28,000 - £35,000
The purpose of this role is to reconcile supplier accounts each month, identifying discrepancies and investigating them through to resolution. This role will suit someone who genuinely enjoys solving puzzles—where the numbers don’t quite line up, the answer isn’t obvious, and getting to the truth takes persistence and curiosity. You’ll be digging into inconsistencies, following the trail across systems and data sets, and piecing together the full story behind the figures.
Beyond resolving issues, you’ll have the opportunity to influence how the business operates—helping to refine processes so they better align with supplier billing and identifying opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency. A key source of job satisfaction in this role comes from uncovering savings, identifying missed revenue, and making a tangible difference to the business.
Please note: This job is not suitable for candidates who see themselves in an accountancy role. Whilst the work of the Billing and Accounts teams dovetail, the departments are separate and require people with different but potentially transferable skill sets.

- Maintain high levels of data accuracy and integrity
- Carry out revenue checks to ensure billing is complete and correct
- Support ongoing improvements to workflow and system processes

- Strong Excel skills
- Highly analytical with a methodical and tenacious approach
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- A completer-finisher who takes ownership and follows tasks through
