We are looking for an Accounts Apprentice to join our Accounts team in Basingstoke; the successful candidate will be providing transactional and month end support to the finance team.
Responsibilities
- Process invoices and credit notes received from suppliers in a timely manner
- Investigate and rectify discrepancies between purchase orders and supplier invoices
- Ensure suppliers are paid in line with credit terms
- Reconcile supplier statements to ensure no costs are missing
- Liaise with suppliers over disputed costs
- Raise ad hoc customer invoices
- Daily bank and sales ledger reconciliations
- Support with the annual audit process
- Any other ad hoc tasks requested to support the management accountants
- Support management accountants with month end processing including: Collating & posting accruals, Collating & posting prepayments, Fixed asset management
Skills Required
