SmartCo Future Health works in partnership with healthcare organisations to shape the future of healthcare and deliver meaningful change now. As we continue to grow, we are looking to connect with experienced EPR Configuration Consultants to support NHS digital transformation and EPR programmes.

This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on configuration experience, who is comfortable working across build, testing, workflow validation and go-live support in live NHS environments. You will work closely with Trust stakeholders, suppliers and wider delivery teams to help ensure systems are configured effectively, safely and in a way that supports real operational need.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven NHS experience in a configuration, build, testing or systems focused role
  • Experience supporting EPR or clinical systems programmes
  • Hands-on experience of system build, configuration, testing support and release activity
  • Strong understanding of NHS operational and/or clinical workflows
  • Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A practical, delivery-focused approach
  • Experience with any of the following systems would be particularly helpful: Nervecentre, Epic, Oracle Health / Cerner, Allscripts / Altera, MEDITECH, Lorenzo, System C, TPP SystmOne, EMIS, RiO, Mosaic, Dedalus, Sunrise, IMS Maxims, Cambio Cosmic, CareFlow, or other comparable EPR, PAS or clinical systems.

The role will involve:

  • EPR configuration and build activity
  • Supporting workflow validation and design discussions
  • Testing support, including test scripts, issue logging and defect triage
  • Supporting UAT, go-live readiness and hypercare
  • Working closely with operational, clinical and technical teams to support successful delivery

Important: We can only consider applicants with proven NHS experience. If you have not worked within the NHS, or delivered into the NHS in a relevant systems-focused role, unfortunately your application will not be progressed. This role is expected to be hybrid, with on-site attendance at the Trust as required depending on programme needs.
