The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for the operational leadership and execution of all inbound warehouse material flow, replenishment activities, dock operations, and lift-truck supported warehouse processes. Reporting to the Director of Logistics and Warehousing, this role leads a team of Lift Truck Operators and dock personnel responsible for inbound receiving, material put-away, warehouse replenishment, wholesale order selection support, and warehouse cycle counting activities. The role ensures safe, accurate, and system-driven execution of warehouse operations while maintaining operational readiness for order fulfillment, transportation, and inventory control. The Warehouse Operations Supervisor acts as the operational backbone supporting fulfillment throughput, inventory accuracy, and warehouse safety. This position includes the execution discipline of warehouse processes through strict adherence to WMS-driven workflows, SOP compliance, safety standards, and operational training.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Inbound Warehouse Operations & Material Flow
- Supervise inbound receiving and material put-away operations.
- Ensure accurate receiving, verification, and system posting of inbound materials.
- Coordinate dock scheduling and inbound workflow to maintain efficient warehouse flow.
- Drive WMS-first process execution for all inbound transactions and material movements.
- Monitor dock productivity and receiving accuracy metrics.
- Lift Truck Operations & Warehouse Replenishment
- Lead Lift Truck Operators. Responsible for replenishment, put-away, cycle counts, and internal warehouse material movement.
- Maintain proper slotting alignment between inbound storage and forward pick locations.
- Ensure replenishment activities support uninterrupted order fulfillment operations.
- Coordinate re-warehousing initiatives and warehouse layout improvements.
- Inventory Movement & Cycle Count Execution
- Manage the execution of warehouse cycle counting activities performed by lift truck operators.
- Ensure adherence to ABC cycle counting schedules and variance resolution procedures.
- Support Inventory Control in maintaining high levels of Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA).
- Identify systemic inventory discrepancies and escalate root-cause analysis opportunities.
- Dock Operations & Fulfillment Support
- Manage parcel dock operations supporting outbound fulfillment activities.
- Ensure picked material from kitting and assembly operations is properly staged and transferred.
- Oversee material flow between warehouse storage and fulfillment operations.
- Maintain dock organization and staging discipline to support daily shipping throughput.
- Safety, Sanitation & Operational Compliance
- Maintain safe warehouse operations across docks, aisles, and lift truck traffic areas.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures and equipment operation protocols.
- Maintain facility sanitation standards supporting safe and efficient warehouse operations.
- Support training and enforcement of SOPs across warehouse personnel.
- WMS Process Ownership & Operational Discipline
- Function as departmental process owner for warehouse WMS transaction execution.
- Ensure all warehouse operations are executed through system-driven workflows.
- Partner with Logistics leadership to identify system improvements and process optimization opportunities.
- Support training initiatives to strengthen system adoption and digital process discipline.

Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of supervisory experience in high-volume warehouse shipping and receiving environments.
- Strong operational knowledge of inbound receiving, warehouse replenishment, and material flow management.
- Experience leading lift truck operators and dock personnel in fast-paced warehouse environments.
- Demonstrated ability to enforce operational discipline, safety standards, and process adherence.
- Working familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and system-driven warehouse workflows.
- Strong digital aptitude and comfort working within warehouse systems and operational dashboards.
Preferred Attributes:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Experience in high-SKU velocity fulfillment or eCommerce warehouse environments.
- Demonstrated ability to train and coach frontline warehouse personnel.
- Exposure to structured operational improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis).
- Ability to maintain operational discipline while supporting cross-functional teams including fulfillment, transportation, and inventory control.
