Join our team as a Management Accountant, responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, reconciling bank statements, and managing GST returns. You'll liaise with hotels to ensure accurate P&L statements, assist with budget preparation, and promote process improvements. This role requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.
Join us as a Management Accountant where you'll:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for defined hotels and management companies to a final draft Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet stage including:
  • Preparation of bank reconciliation’s
  • Preparation and posting of journals
  • Compilation of all supporting work papers
  • Liase with hotels on any areas of concern found in the preparation of P&L Statements.
  • Preparation of owner return payments for strata title properties and associated reporting to owners.
  • Preparation of monthly and annual body corporate accounts and liaising with auditors.
  • Preparation of GST returns and other compliance matters.
  • Reconciliation of group inter-company balances, invoicing etc.
  • General tasks include but are not limited to the following:
  • Maintain confidentiality with respect to the position and the working environment.
  • Adhere to Company policies & procedures.
  • Perform any such duties that Management may assign.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
